Simple. We’re looking for brands that actually give a shit about the South African Music scene
and not lining the pockets of production agencies or event partners.
Delivering real money that the band can use as they see fit, for new recordings or
printing t-shirts.
The catch is that you decide how much the bands or musicians get.

Every download = a payment from the brand to the musician, until the support fund runs dry.
AS AN ARTIST
We don't receive any money for music downloads and we don't want a percentage per download.
We're not a record label or a music platform pretending to be one.
We want the musicians we support to be able to keep making music.
And we're willing to say thank you to a brand that gets this.
Songrab was the brainchild of Ryno van Niekerk and it's grown into the adopted child of Matt Visser, Martijn van Maasakkers & Brendan Sterley.
None of us were paid for the time it took to make this. We did this by ourselves, for our friends.
Songrab was made out of a love for music and the people who commit their lives to
our Friday night parties and Sunday night romantic dinners.
